At an auction at Goodwood in the UK last weekend (1st September 2007) an Austin 1800 London-Sydney Rally car sold for what must be a world record price for a Landcrab.
The car SMO 223G which was the works survey car and which at some time had been crashed and totally re built sold for over £30.000 - that's getting on for AU$80,000.
